Fun activities to do at band camp...?

as one of the drum majors this year, im supposed to help come up with ideas for fun games to do at the end of the day at band camp..

we need things the kids can have fun with and enjoy, get to know the other band members more...just little games that dont take very long but we can havbe fun with...

anyone have any cool ideas? any ideas are appriciated, please nothing perverted or unappropriate for school!

this is from one drum major to another and i have to do the same thing so maybe this will help. Ok so there is this really cool trust game that i learned at leadership camp but i think you should try it out with your leaders first before you try with the entire band.

-get everyone shoulder to shoulder in a circle

-now have all of them turn to their right and move towards the center and have their toes touch the heels of the people in front of them.

*try to disperse the taller people among the shorter ones.

-now say ready one two and they all sit down on the other persons lap

*it is very important that nobody backs out and moves their leg, this will mess up the entire game.

-if they make it have them put their hands above them and have them clap.

- now take small steps and see how many they can do

-everyone starts with left and then right

*you could also make it a competition and split half of the band

it might sound kind of long and lame but it is really fun

-enjoy

We have march offs, to see who lasts the longest about what you learned, like turning and stoping and stuff! we also play Medusa, where every lines up in a block and the drum majors and directors try to make them laugh(b/cthey are supposed to be serious when they march! Lots of fun gets the band members to cheer each other on
