Fun/cheap/casual resteraunts in toronto?

What is a fun place for a group of teens to go for a birthday in torono. We are on a budget, and dont care as long as the food is good,clean.:p

Jack Astors or Montana's...both are in downtown Toronto or there are lots of other locations around Toronto as well.

Marchees is a really cool place to go, it's like a market and you walk around and pick your meal from Sushi, to Pasta and steaks to chicken, stirfrys and fish. evrytime to pick something, a waiter will take a card (kind of like a charge card) and swipe it. at the end of the meal you take you card to the cashier and pay! It's as expensive or inexpensive as you want and really is a fun dining experience.!

Iam a former chef, and the restaurants on the Esplanade, like the Spaghetti Factory, Organ Grinder, I am not sure about the Hard Rock on Yonge, the Mandarin or Swiss Chalet.

I guess you have to call around some charge extra for a special event, and if it is in the next 2 weeks, you may have issues, in the burbs it might not be a problem, but if you want a night on the town and in downtown T.O, it is a bit tricky unless you book ahead.

Do your research and even get a estimated price for the party, with tip, taxes and any additional charges if any, will save you money and big hit on your CC

I really enjoy Mr. Greenjeans which is in the Eaton Centre. Also I like Planet Hollywood and The Hard rock Cafe.

Kelsey's is alot of fun.  For something really different try "Rainforest" at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

I highly recommed the Mandarin. It is a buffet resteraunt. It isn't to costly either about 20-40 dollars a person. The food is really really good. However, if you are inviting alot of friends/family you might want to go to King's Noodle. They have really good food for about 5-8 dollars a dish.
