I am going to Torreblanca at Easter (close to Fuengirola and Benalmadina)with my 2 & 9 year old step-daughters. Is there any water parks, zoos etc close by that anyone has visited with children?

  1. could try tivoli world, its in fuengirola, its a theme park, there is also a zoo in fuengirola zoofuengirola.com , give it a look..

there is a aqua park in torremolenos down the road, not sure if its open yet

  2. Try Aqua park Mijas at Fuengirola, it's a great water park.

Also try Funny Beach on the Coastal Road (A7) about 1 mile before Marbella. It's got attractions and rides for kids.

Take a look at this page, it gives some local attractions

  3. there is loads to do......

in fuengirola/mijas costa there is a water park which is great fun, there is also one in torremolinos, but the fuengirola will be closer.

tivoli world is excellent also, its in arroyo de la miel, not far from fuengirola, maybe 10min drive, more for the 9yr old and grown ups though, but there will be fun stuff ffor the 2yr old. tivoli world is a big amusement park type of thing, but ti stays open till god knows what hour!.........it has restaurants and bars, and theme shows and spanish dancing as well as all the great rides, i used to go when i was younger and I LOVE IT..........i also love it now im older, cuz you can have a drink too...which makes soem rides better, but obviously some worse!

when i visited the zoo in fuengirola i wasnt that impressed to be honest, but if your stuck for something to do, you may as well give it a try,

mijas is a good place to visit, litlle village (well, not so little anymore!) just up from fuengirola, there a litle museum there with weird stuff like a shrunken head....sound groose but quite fascinating, and there are loads of litlle spanish shops selling souvenighrs etc.. plus there are donkeys and you can go on donkey rides.....

obviously theres always the beach, which keeps most kids happy, as long as they can have a ice cream too.......just remember to use high factor sun cream.............

any other questions i might be able to help you with, contact me, no probs,

    hope this helps

just found the website for tivoliworld for you, so you can have a look for yourself;for some reason the english version wasnt working when i tried it, but click on the spanish flag, and u can at least have a look around, even if you dont understand the writting

    www.tivoli.es

    have a look for yourself,

(im all excited now, whish i was going)....i really should grow up!

    :-)
