Fun for teens at Iberostar Punta Cana?

Hey I'm going to the Iberostar Punta Cana resort this spring break (end of April) with my friend, his parents, and another friend. We're all 17 and just looking for a good time. I heard from some people that Iberostar is a little high class, therefore it may not be as much fun for teens and not have as many people my age. I just wanted to know how much truth there is to this and what to expect.

I know that they will serve us alcohol and stuff but I'm just wondering how many people my age will be there, Thanks.

You better hope it's nothing like the Iberostar Puerto Plata.  I went there a couple of years w/ a couple of buddies of mine and from the moment we walked in to the resort, we were being followed and kept an eye on by security.  There were a bunch of old folks there, looked like they went there to die.  It was awful.  But, that was Puerto Plata... for your sake, I hope Punta Cana is NOTHING LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, there will be some young people but not much at this time of year (school/university). Yes Iberostar is a high class hotel, but I think you will  have some fun. I had be better if it was Iberostar in Puerto Plata, much more to see and to discover....

The Iberostars are actually very strict with minors (under 18) with serving them liquor.  You will get id'd upon checking in.

Iberostar is up-scale but very nice.  That is the only way my husband and I go is if it is Iberostar (out of country anyways).  You will have lots of fun because the star friends teams has activities going on all the time.
