  1. i visited toronto this year and i ate at wayne gretzky's restaurant. the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was really great. i would highly recommend it

  2. I say go to the Mandarin.

They are well equipped to handle groups and will probably give you a private room.

Second option would be Medievil times on Lakeshore neat the Dufferin gate at the CNE grounds

  3. Something that is set up for entertainment purposes is either the Old Spaghetti Factory or the Organ Grinder on the Esplanade, behind the Hummingbird Center.

Even Mr Greenjeans in the Eaton Center, I was a chef and worked in downtown Toronto, I am not sure if the Hard Rock Cafe is your thing the one on Yonge and Dundas Circle, next to the Civic Square.

Your best bet is to call some the suggested places and see what there policies are, for people under 19 and a number over 10 there are some restaurants that have certain rules and restrictions, before you make all the arrangements, get all the deals settled.

  4. I think that Pickle Barrel might be a good choice for a group  because they have a variety of cuisines at about $15 a plate, and the location at Yorkdale (also Yonge & Eglinton) has a nice ambiance that's not too casual like other restaurants in that price range, namely Jack Astors, Fox & Fiddle, Montanas, etc. Other good spots: Spring Rolls (Asian fusion) at Front & Jarvis (trendier location) around $15 / entree;  Lemongrass at Eglinton & Bayview (Asian fusion $15/ entree); Kit Kat 2 (Italian / grill) at John & Adelaide $25 a plate.

  5. Red lobster

  6. Possibly the best cheap, fun, and very delicious, casual downtown restaurant is Salad King http://www.saladking.com/ .It's loud (so it's perfect for teenage girls... sorry for the dig)  It's bright and has long tables that can handle big groups. They have a great Thai menu featuring many meat or vegetarian options that you can specify the spiciness of. There are plenty of people watching and great treats to be had. There is always a line (good sign) but it always moves fast.. or call ahead for reservations. It's a great location too, just off Yonge, north of Dundas Square.
