I am going on a weekend trip to Chicago and Detroit. I am from New York. What are some fun things to do in each city besides Baseball? My dad and I are already seeing the Cubs, White Sox, and Tigers. Thanks for your help.

  1. The fun part is leaving...

  2. Well i just came back from Chicago a couple of days ago and i had a lot of fun, and I am from Texas. The Sears Tower is very fun, you go to the 103 floor and it is such a beautiful view, also the John Hancock Tower, they take you to the 93 floor! it is very fun and interesting. Also the Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium, and especially the Field Museum! The Field Museum is very interesting. There is soo much stuff to see at the Field Museum. We stayed at a hotel downtown and it was very fun. The Navy Pier is also fun, their are boat tours you can take at Lake Michigan.

What helps a lot to save money is to get the go Chicago Card. That helps a lot. We got a two day go card and we saved over $170! Here is the website for more information http://www.gochicagocard.com/whatis.html

I have never been to Detroit so sorry I cant help with that.

  3. Chicago -  Field Musem, Shedd Aquarium, House of Blues, Museum of Science and Industry, Orange (place to eat in Wrigleyville), Navy Pier, The Bean(art sculpture on Mich Ave), Brookfield Zoo, the Sears Tower,

Detroit - Greektown, detroit Zoo,  in Dearborn - Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum,    if you are driving, stop in Kalamazoo (halfway between the 2) and go the the Air Zoo, lots of wine tasting also

  4. I'm going to the Chicago area later this month for a weekend at Six Flags Great America.  That would be fun if you're into amusement parks & have the time for it.
