I'm looking for good first date places in or around Irving, Texas (including Las Colinas, etc), particularly around the stadium/university of Dallas.

  1. Nothing really in Las Colinas but restaurants and office buildings. Not the best place for a date.

The museum at the movie studio is closed, that would have been the best suggestion.

  2. Hmmm the first response makes me think they are super young. Chipotle is really good but I definately would not want to go on a date there (it has nothing to do with the price, but mostly because shoving a giant burrito into your face is not a good way to make the best first impression)

I would say as far as dinner, find out for sure if they like sushi and if they do go for that. There is a place in Addison called Chaucer's that I like. Sushi is just kinda fun, plus it is bite size so you won't feel under confident while you eat (which many girls have issues with) OR a Japanese place with a hibachi table is always good, like Benihana, Oishi, or Kobe Steaks OR a fondu resturant. Anything where the food is fun is a good idea. Plus you want it to be quiet enough to where you can have good conversation.

If the weather is nice, I would say go to the park or the zoo. It is fun, you have things to do plus there is plenty of time for talking and stuff.

  3. why dont u just come ot down town dallas, go to the melting pot, its cool.

  4. OMG

    I live here

some fun places to eat would include Chipotle and Mi Cocina

take your date around the Galleria or maybe the Grapevine Mills Mall, then go out to eat... TRUST me...its a blast

  5. A place to take a person for a really good date is in dallas. It is the dallas world aquarium on field street. It is such a cool place that always has people it so much fun. In the grapevine area there is a small botanical garden... I believe it is on wall street or you could just go to the grapevine lake and just have a picnic(that always works). Another idea if both of you really enjoy just watching things you can go the northside of the DFW airport and there is a small area where you can sit and watch the planes land and take off. Its on aiport road.  These are just some of the few things i do with my girlfriend and she always enjoys them.....

  6. Las Colinas has some nice places, especially around 635 going towards Dallas.

How about Main Event off of 121 near DFW airport? Those places are fun.
