Fun things in Kansas City?

What are some fun things to do in Kansas City? Also, maybe some free options....thanks.

If you are looking for shopping, eating and some fun stuff to do all in one area, there is the legends of village west.  The have some really cool resteraunts- trex for kids, dave and busters with games, and corona cantina. They also have tons of shops and some that are outlets like nike and tommy hilfiger and I believe they have a bowling alley and movie theatre too.  There website is www.legendsshopping.com.  

I will tell you that the zoo isnt so great so I would prob skip it.  If you do go, take a sack lunch.  

Royals game are really fun for all ages and totally afforable.  If you come when they have a game on sunday, they have family fun day on sunday.  You can get four tickets, four hotdogs, four pepsis, and a bag of peanuts for $44.  Kids can run the bases after the game too.  I do not think you have to buy four tickets to get this price either.  Its just packaged that way.  You can buy a single tic for $11 and still get the hotdog etc.  Even if you dont come on a sunday the tickets are cheap and we always have a good time.  We have worlds of fun and oceans of fun, but they are a little priceier.  Hope that helps and have fun in kc!
