Fun things to do in Ixtapa, Mexico??

Ixtapa is very small and not really a "party" place.  I am sure you could ride the banana, go on a sunset catamaran cruise, maybe take a day trip to a snorkeling spot, ride some ATVs, horseback ride...I guess that's about all I know.

There are many of quiet beaches a nice golf course I am not sure if they are done the water park yet.  In the evening there is a huge outdoor market in the centre of town.  There are a few Disco style bars.  Depending on the time you go you can see whales, they go there to give birth.  

I will be there in April.
