Fun things to do in Newport, RI?

Other than the beach, do you have any suggestions for fun things to do in Newport, RI? I am going with my boyfriend. We tend to like outdoorsy types of things, but any suggestions are welcomed. THANKS!

I agree, the Cliff Walk is amazing!  It starts off like a walk in the park, but gets a little more intense towards the end.  I think it's 6 miles round trip.  Bring a camera and some water.  You will have amazing views of the water and mansions.  I also hear some of the mansions are worth touring.

If you are outdoorsy, you will love the Cliff Walk.  It is a beautiful walk along the cliff's near the Newport mansions.  cliffwalk.com has some info about it.  

You can also tour the Mansions which is amazing.  

You could go horseback riding or sailing.
