Fun things to do in Victoria and Vancouver Canada?

Question

I am going on a trip to Canada later this month.

I have never been there and need ideas.

I also would like good restaurants and I don't mind weird/different food.

Cool places to shop?

Must sees?

What kinds of things can I only find there?

I also like artsy stuff, crafty things and handmade items.

It might be something you'll have to play by ear, there are so many restaurants and stuf flike that there that you wouldnt be able to narrow it down, once you get here you'll see

Hi! I live in Victoria and have been living here for my whole life! You should definately go see the inner harbour, where the infamous empress hotel is located, parliment buildings, and of course the beautiful views of Victoria's harbours! There you are able to go whale watcher, get a ferry tour, watcher performers, musicians, and painters, go on horse carriage rides, and ride on a kabuki cab! You also should go to our malls, especially the bay centre which is located downtown, and Mayfair mall which is in town! We have amazing naturistic features, so be sure to take a walk to the top of a mountain! Buchart gardens are also known as one of Victorias best tourist attractions, and if you feel adventurous and want to go jet-lining, go to sooke for an amazing and unforgettable time!  For artsy things, go to the wax museum and some art galleries downtown (right across from the bay centre) ... For restaurants, the keg downtown, raymonds for chinese food, and restaurants in china town are amazing! Hope you have a fun trip!! Coming down to victoria will definately not disappoint you!

I live in Tofino which is about 4 hrs away from Victoria and if ur an outdoor person, come down here...there's surfing, hiking, whale watching, kayaking, bear watching, hot springs... and the view is great! specially if ur tryna get away from the city life... i'm not too familiar with artsy stuff in van or vic but i know that in Coombs, there's a really neat place where they have goats on the roof and a lot of artsy crafty things that ud definately enjoy!
