Fun things to do in downtown Chicago?

I'm going camping with my family near Chicago, and we are gonna take a train downtown for 3 days. What are some fun things to do downtown? Like, things for a family (ranging 4ish to 70 something) and for me personally (I'm 15) to do? Any help is appreciated! =]

Obviously just walking around downtown seeing sears tower, michigan avenue. Go shopping. Go to the beach. Go see Wrigley or Commisky, yes Commisky I refuse to call it us cellular. Or go to the south side if you want to see drive by shootings.
