Fun things to do in playa del carmen mexico?

Question

I will be vacationing to playa in about a month. It will be in mid march if that makes any difference in the exciting things to do. I will be with my family but i would like to venture on my own since their interest will be different from mine. Im ninteen so i would like to go to a club or two. If you know any great places to have fun let me know about them.

Excaret, is an ecological park in Playa that you will love. It offers shows, snorkeling (some of the best I have seen in Mexico), somewhat of a zoo type atmosphere, you can literally spend the whole day there, and we did, and went back the next time we were in Mexico.  It has cenotes to discover, and just so much about the culture you can explore.

Beaches as well in Playa del Carmen are very nice, not as commercial as Cancun, and very interesting.

Playa del Carmen has tons of bars and an amazing beach.  There's parasailing and other beach activities available.  As for hitting the clubs solo - wouldn't do it in Mexico!!!
