  3. go to parco leonardo shopping mall near FCO airport.. there are many shops, a supermarket and cinemas.....(the stop before you reach the airport with the train)

  4. - Walk around the Trastevere neighborhood. There are many pubs, bars, restaurants and many young people on the streets;

    - Drink in a bar or just turn around the Campo dei Fiori, a kind of square always crowded in the summer, but not only by tourists;

    - Piazza Navona: you can watch the comics, mimics, painters, musicians, performers, ecc;

    - Have the best ice creams of the world (mainly in the Piazza Navona area);

    - If it is summer, you have many festivals of music, culture, theatre, all around; Villa Borghese is wonderful;

    - Again during the summer, good discos in Ostia (30 minutes away from Rome);

    - Visit Cinecittà (subway station Line A), the center and studios of the italian cinema and tv productions;

    - In the Ostiense area (near where I lived!) you can find the new clubs and discos, and also good restaurants;

    - Sunday morning... you may go to Porta Portese, an enormous street market where you can find anything you need (and also things you don't, but you will buy anyway);

    - An infinity of good restaurants.
