Fun things to do with 11 year old? Easter Craft Ideas?

My 11 year old sister in law is coming over for the night and I want to make it a really fun night for her. She loves doing crafts and painting so i was wondering if anyone had any good easter craft ideas or something?

Also...I was thinking of doing a pizza bar where we all make our own miniature pizza.

Any ideas?

Love the pizza bar idea. My girls have always loved making their own pizza. If you have a blender you can also do a frozen drink bar. We try to always keep frozen fruit in the house because the girls love making them. Our favorite is pineapple juice with frozen mangos and ice. You can pick out some juice flavors and different frozen fruits and berries so she can add in whatever she wants.

Has she made her own jewelry before? Girls that age love making friendship bracelets, hemp bracelets, and beaded bracelets and necklaces. They love being able to show their friends the cool stuff they make. As the night comes to an end you can also sit down for a movie and do facials and your nails. Girls that age really like doing things that make them feel older.

This is very nice of you to try to make a special night with her.

If you search Easter Coloring pages on the net, you can find lots of cute pictures to print off and colour. Here's what I did:

I found a website with a large Easter basket, I loaded tan construction into my printer and printed the sheet x2 for my kids. I bought easter stickers at walmart with colourful eggs and bunnies and chickens etc. They coloured the baskets, cut them out (but we didn't cut out the center of the baskets) and put the stickers all over the baskets. They had a great time.

Fun! Eggs are fun to do! Just make sure you boil them first. I didn't one year and that was a big mess! LOL That all I can think of maybe you can look on line for more fun crafts and do movies ( all G and PG) of course!

i really like the pizza bar idea.

for crafts maybe get some jewelry making kits and make necklaces and stuff while watching a movie or tv or something. also maybe have fun doing makeovers, 11 seems to be a year where girls get really into that kind of stuff. it's also a really great way to bond, make her over then let her make over you. it's tons of fun.
