Fun things to do with a 3-year old?

Question

I have to baby sit my cousin's daughter next week for about half a day.

Any ideas on what I can do to keep her entertained?

Go to the zoo, go to the aquarium, go to the park, bake treats together, go to the beach and build sand castles, rent and watch movies, play board games easy enough for her, mold things with play dough, have a tea party, go to chuck e cheese, go to barnes & noble she can find a book you two can read together (for free) and she might find a friend to play with.

you can put in a movie like 'spirit' or 'the lion king'. play games with her like hide and seek. or card games. there is realy alot of stuff.

Little ones love to be outside.  You could take her for a walk, or to the park, or even to the backyard for some play.  You can read stories to her.  You can ask her to "help" you dust the furniture, or pick up her room.  Of course she won't do a good job because she's only three, but she'll love it that you've asked her to help.  You can sing songs with her, but make sure the songs are appropriate for a three year old.  You can bring a simple coloring book and some non-toxic crayons, the big fat ones fit the hands of a three year old best.  You can go thru her toy box and ask her to tell you what each of the toys are.  You'll be helping her to practice her word skills.
