Fun with food-let your imagination go?

ok, so likely adults are answering this, but its for fun and to see how creative you can be....

in your own words, build a CANDLYLAND, describe everything such as plants, houses, rivers, animals etc. and what kind of candy it would be made of-you can use juices or any type of drinks for your rivers-lakes-etc. let your mind run wild...its your land...and see if you can make yourself hungry-lol-or that sweet toothe kick in!

I've actually done this before for a kids party.

I bought a thick piece of cardboard and covered it in foil as my base.  For houses, I used grahmcrackers covered in icing.  For grass, I spread icing and then sprinkled green sprinkles over it.  I had a little stream going down the side that I made by melting sugar, corn syrup, and blue food coloring to a hard crack stage (300 degress).  I kept it in one area by lining the area with chocolate twizzlers.  For roads, I made a brick road out of orange and red starbursts.  For trees, I used the med. tootsie rolls and toped them with marshmallows that I wet a little and rolled in coconut that I dyed with green food coloring.  For sand I used light brown sugar.  For animals I used the fun size tootsie rolls and used toothpicks as legs and half sized tootsie rolls as their heads.  For flowers, I used starbursts that I rolled out and then molded into flowers.

It was a really fun project, I wish I had a picture to show you the finished project!
