I have an older Sony Vaio Laptop. I wanted to hook it up to our new HDTV but the function keys, F8, are not responding. I tried your suggestion of hitting Numlock/Fn key with no luck...I also held down the Numlock key for 5 seconds to turn on the toggle switch with no luck. Any other way to switch from LCD to TV function?
