  1. Lok Sabha is the house of representatives of the people directly elected by the people of a particular constituency. Rajya Sabha is the House of the Representatives of various constituent States of India. They are elected by various constituencies, by the elected members the Lok Sabgha, Legislatures of the State Assemblies etc. The fundamental duty of these Parliament including LS and RS is to enact law and pass the budget. A bill becomes law, once it is passed by both the houses of the Parliament and assented by the President. For passing a money bill, it has to be introduced in the LS and it becomes enacted even in the event of RS not passing. If there is a disagreement over a bill between the LS and RS, there should be a joint sitting of both the houses for passing it.
