Fund-raising for animal charity? help plz?

I want to raise lots of money for a particular animal charity in the UK . . Do i need to get approval and permission from the charity before i can carry it out?

Anything else i might need to do also . . .plz

  1. In the Uk, yes, you do have to get the charity's permission to use their name. They may even help you with resources for your events.


  2. I guess it would be better to let he charity know what you are doing.

  3. I raise money for our local 'Animal Wildlife Centre' and I have never had to get permission from them. They are extremely grateful for any help because they are a registered charity and exist only because of people's generosity. If you are worried, just contact them and tell them what you'd like to do, if they've got a problem with it, they will soon let you know.

    I set up a stall at our local fete every year and sell secondhand clothes, books and bric-a-brac. Get all your friends and family to donate their cast offs etc. and all the profits can then go directly to the charity.

    Charities need more people like you.
