Fund raising ideas!!! urgent plz help! ( easy 10 points!)?

Question

my friends and i are going to be raising money for breast cancer.

we would like to have a carwash to raise money

do you have any other helpful ideas that we could use at the fundraiser. what things do people enjoy and what things would they spend money on? games food, we need help.. the fundraiser is in 3 days!

there are many things you could do like sell candy bars, chips, water and sodas...

you could also set up an arts and crafts/ balloon folding and face painting table for the children and have that be by donation.

you could set up basic games/prizes. for instance, have a duck pond, with the number they pull out matching the prize. the prizes could be a free car wash, or suckers, pencils, you know stuff like that.

next time you have a fund-raising event, try selling something different and useful like first aid kits, check out this website. the car and home first aid kits are great, you buy them for $4 and sell them for $8.

have a party fundraiser, sell tickets and give the money to the cause.  everyone loves a party.  or a fundraiser fashion show, get aspiring designers to make clothes & you could auction the clothes off and charge tickets to come. good luck!  <3

Car Wash is a great idea! And it's what you sell at the car wash that is even better! So the car wash can even turn into a mini fair, where people will love to take their ot have about a half a hour of entertainment.

SO...

1)Have the car wash, charge whatever amount. Make sure you actually do a nice job, or else it's not worth it.

2)Make some brownies and cookies, and sell those. LIke 3 for a dollar or something , or 50 cents each, something like that. Have a wide selection, and you could even make sugar cookies with frosting, and then put the pink ribbon logo on them all.

3)Also offer some water or lemonade! Make pink lemonade and plain, and try to get some cool color straws too. Anything that would make people want to buy them! And anything that is cold, assuminng that it's nice and warm where youl ive.

4)Buy some plain whtie t-shirts, and set up fabric paints and have people decorate their own "fight breast cancer" shirt. Charge 5 bucks each a shirt, because you can buy a 5 pack of hane's t-shirts for like 6 dollars. Or buy some at the dollar store. Have like 4 tables set up, so it's like 2 people at a table, so that people don't have to wait. NO one likes waiting.

5)Make a frisbee toss. Make a couple of circles, 1 really big one, 1 medium one, and 1 just a little bigger than the frisbee. So if the kid gets in the little one, they get like 3 prizes, in the medium, 2 prizes, and in the smal, one prize. However you want to do it. Buy prizes at athe dollar store, so you can get like 20 for a dollar or something. Buy like little rings, or those big bags of plastic bugs. Charge like 50 cents or so for 3 tosses. You could do this with balls instead, whatever you want.

6)Set up benches for people to sit on while waiting for their car to be cleaned, and where they can sit and eat. Then at each of the tables, put some facts about breast cancer. lie "every (blank) out of (blank) women will be affected wiht breast cancer every year" so that people know you are serious, and will be wililng to spend money on the cause.

So I hope you like the ideas! And just remember to have plenty of signs saying where the money is going and whatnot, and be ready to answer any questions thrown your way.

The most effective, efficient fund-raiser is to go to people, tell them what you want the money for, and wait silently for them to give you money--either because they believe in the cause or to get you to go away.

You could offer people who give above a certain amount a choice of things, like a cake, an afternoon of entertaining their kids at your house, church or a park, or a car wash. They pick what they want--you tell them when it's going to be. That way you don't waste a lot of time, waiting for people to turn up--or waste any money (or water).
