  1. It's normal to measure a few weeks ahead or behind. I always measured 2 weeks larger. What can I say, I have big babys :)

But that doesn't always mean your baby is large. I've had friends measure large and they gave birth to small babys.

  2. since the midwife started measuring me i have been always been 1 cm over. She says its more likely that the baby is a few days to a week older than they think, but i think that is only the case if the measurement is consistently higher. Once thought at 28 weeks i measured 33 and the midwife got me to stand up and lay back down again and the baby moved and my fundal height went back down to 29, so it could have been the position the baby was in, or you may be having a bigger baby.

  3. it depends, i was always mesuring on the dot and my baby was 11.7. but it is okay to measure a couple of weeks small or big. good luck!

  4. Hi, congrats on the baby.

It could be several things. when i was 28 weeks i was measuring 32 weeks and at 32 weeks i was measuring 38 weeks.

they told me that she was about 9 lbs.. lol she was only born at 7 lbs 11 oz.

It could be the way the baby is laying, it could be that the baby is big, it could be that your dates might be a week off. but not really much to worry about.
