Fundraiser, fundemental fundraiser....?

hmm....

okay, so i am a heartfelt person who wants to make a difference.

i wanna help kids in Africa in the Country of Malawi, but i need some money to travel

i also need ideas, ideas on what i cud do there

if not, ideas for another purposeful fundraiser

Try to contact Crossroads Africa. My daughter and a group of Girl Scouts went to an island in the Caribbean to build a children's center. They had a good time as well as doing some good for others. Good luck. I almost forgot the fundraiser,organize a group garage sale, with the proceeds going to your project. Ask the neighbors for donations.

Many churches sponsor foreign missions and can provide guidance / venues - you might want to check a few out in your community to see if there's something going on that you would like to participate in.

The Episcopal Church does alot of this with local churches very often having groups that travel on missions for some period of time varying from perhaps a week or so to months.  They are also active in raising money to provide relief to disaster stricken areas and people as well as helping to dispatch people to help there in many cases.  

There are many others doing the same thing - check it out - surely many of them would welcome your talents and ideas.

Why do you need the money to travel?  Raise the money and donate it through a local ministry.  If your main purpose is to donate then why waste all that money for you to get on a plane? Your airfare alone would feed 3 families for a year.

This is not a "fundraiser" but you can always pray for them. GOD is real. Some believe and some don't. But rest assured HE is real.
