  1. . Coins For (You choose the charity)

This is a very simple Project.. Almost everyone has had a pocket full of coins on more than one occasion.  What about that Penny From Heaven you found in the parking lot, the change left over from your allowance, etc. Throw all that spare change in a jar, and have your friends, school, relatives, etc. participate as well. Give it about 3 to 6 months...or even a year. At the end of your designated date, have everyone cash in their coins and then write out one big check to the charity of your choice! Very Simple! And it's so easy that alot of people can participate! Usually the biggest complaint about donating to charity is "I don't have the money", so this is virtually a painless way to raise money for a very good cause. :) Go for it! It's as easy as 1, 2,3! While you're at it, if you really want to get them into saving their coins offer a prize for the person who saves the most money! Perhaps dinner for two at a local restaurant, a night at the movies, or a gift card to a local store. People will be scrambling for money when they know they are working for a prize. :)

    2. Tag Sale:

Collected just a little bit too much over the years?  A Tag Sale is a great way to raise money for charity! :) Be sure to Price things to sell. Anywhere from 25 cents to 5.00 is a great price for bargain hunters and penny pinchers! But don't just make it an ordinary Tag Sale, add a little spunk to it! Bake a batch of Homemade Cookies or Brownies for a free treat while they "Shop". Offer other freebies like Buy one, get one free! Or do a 50% off sale on day two of your tag sale with the words "Everything Must Go!" In two days you should make a decent amount of money. Place a sign outside your garage door and say "All proceeds from this Tag Sale will go to...."with every purchase they make, they will truly make a difference.

    3. Raffles:

Everyone loves a raffle! And you don't have to spend a fortune to have one! :) Set a limit for your raffle. How much are you willing to spend to raise money for your charity? 25.00? 50.00?? 100.00?? or more...it all depends on you. You can charge 1.00 per ticket, or you can give them a bargain at 5 tickets for 3.00. :) Giving them more of an opportunity to win.

Some great raffle prizes are: Movie Tickets For Two, A Gift Certificate To Barnes And Noble, or an equally favorite store, A gift certificate to a local restaurant, etc. You can have has little as 3 winners, and chose more expensive prizes, or you can have 5 winners and chose a lesser value for a prize. Sell the tickets to your friends, family, and relatives, or get your school, or office involved. When they realize it's for a good cause, it's likely that they will be willing to purchase at least one ticket. :)

    4. Penny Competition:

Get your school involved in a friendly competition! Have the students in each classroom collect as many pennies as they can! Each class with have a jar to collect pennies in. Students can fill as many jars as they can and you can run it for a week or two  before making the final count. The class who has collected the most pennies will win a Pizza Party or the prize of your choice. :) Pennies are easy to come by, and lots of people want to just get rid of them! So go ahead and collect those pennies, run the fundraiser for a few weeks, and those pennies WILL Add up!

  2. Guess your weight booth (if you guess wrong they get a free ticket for a raffle on a price that will be drawn for at the end of the fund raiser)

    Bake sale

    50/50 draw

Get a nice looking bottle a decent size, say for example opp shop fill it with marbles and the one who guesses closest to the number of marbles wins it. It makes a nice decorating piece as the marbles are so colorful. Even at 25 cents a guess its a great fund raiser. (Only get one person to count and don't say who knows the number of marbles to keep it a secret). You could even make a couple different ones. One green jar, one blue, one red, one yellow, and one clear.
