Fundraiser.....ideas please?

i have bookede a hall to have a xmas fundraiser for my sons football team. It will be adults only but need some ideas for the fundraising. Sick of the usual horse nights and casino style games

.do not have any fund raiser ideas but I did have one suggestion. Always have anything to raise money on the first weekend of the month as you will have all people having money.  Especially in a low income area.  Welfare checks and Social Security come from the first to the third of each month. The ability to buy is best then.

Have an indoor garage sale - those always attract local college kids. I know for our high school marching band, we sold Christmas trees. I realize that doesn't have to a lot to do with the booked hall, but it's an excellent source of income every year, as nearly every parent, grandparent and family friend patronizes that tree stand as opposed to Wal-Mart, etc.

We also had a bazaar where people donated crafts, foods, ornaments, services, etc. It didn't make as much as the tree stand, but we still made a good lot of money.

Talent show? Have kids audition and pay to perform and make people pay for admission.
