Fundraiser ideas?

Ok so im in NJROTC and I'm the platoon leader and I have come up with a field trip idea to go to Pensacola and I have to raise the money. What's the best fundraiser to have?

I have children in school, and they constantly bring home flyers for selling everything from cookie dough, to wrapping paper, ceramics, and nobody ever wants to buy any of that junk!!  When I was in school we sold candy bars-everyone bought them, even if for only $1 each I think you make $0.50 on each one-but at least people will buy them!  We sold enough for a trip to Florida also (for band). I'm not sure who the fundraiser was through though, Hershey might have some type of program? Or maybe some other type of inexpensive food product?  (Since it is summer and chocolate will melt!)
