Fundraising Chocolates stolen? Probably my friends?

Question

At school we have a chocolate drive and I got a box of chocolates ie: freddo and caramello koalas and 4 blocks of cadbury chocolate.

Today I had the box in my locker and when I go back to my locker at lunch all the freddos and caramellos where gone.

My friend anastasia said that my group: tessa, claire and brooke asked her if she wanted some of my chocolates while they where in my locker.

I went to my level co-ordinator after school and she wanted to see tessa, claire and brooke but they had all left.

When I asked them if they took the chocolates they denied it.

But to me it feels like something i would do.

If i dont get the chocolates back I will have to pay for the missing chocolates out of my own money.

The funny thing is that in the box what was left was the money.

Help Please?!

I think what the "funny thing is.." You call them your "friends". If they know that you may be in trouble and they still don't fess up, perhaps that should tell you something.

You may just have to pay out of your pocket. I doubt that your "friends" will admit it if they took the candy.

Consider this a lesson learned. Never give anyone your locker combination.

Just tell your friends that you will have to pay out of your own money if you can't find who did and pull a guilt trip on them and say something like you are having money troubles atm and can't afford it or something else that will make them confess and pay up!
