Fundraising Ideas for non profits?

okay well i work for a non profit organization ...and we have a group of youth and we are planning to go camping in 3 weeks and i need some quick and easy fundrasinf ideas we need to raise $1000...so please i need the best support...im part of youth and im the one in charge of fundraisin

Garage sales and carwashes are easy to organize but they will not be the best way to meet your goal.  If this camping trip is somehow related to the mission of the organization, then direct donations can be solicited from donors to help cover the expenses.  If this is a trip you are taking just for fun, to celebrate working together, then you will need to stick to the carwash and garage sale genre.

1. Garage sale=sell everything at $1

2. Donation Car Wash=Anyone that needs a car wash has to donate. It can be $1 to $100.

We do this every year for our church kids.

You can go to a warehouse store, such as Sam's or Costco, and get some candy bars to re-sell.  The car wash is an excellent idea.  This would be a great time of year to look for some lawn mowing jobs.  Can you rent yourself out for a day of yard work or house work or odd jobs?
