Ok, I am on my junior high's cheerleading squad and we are selling magazine subscriptions, cookie dough, and "my favorite things" which are just miscillaneous items. I am going to try to sell to my teachers, neighbors, and family. Where else could I try to sell stuff?

  1. Our youth cheer program holds bake sales outside of grocery stores that will let us, and we hold car washes that raise some good money for our program.

Selling the items that you mention to strangers is going to be a tough one to sell. The cookie dough has to be paid for up front, and what stranger is going to want to do that? Magazine subscriptions are the same problem. Do you attend church? Maybe you could try and sell those items to people who attend the same church as you?

  2. The company I work with has some options that might help your cheer squad if you would like. Our products give you 30 days in most cases before payment is due to get the sales rolling, and we don't charge for shipping unless you need to rush the order. We have scratch & help cards, spinners, cookie dough, and more! Email me back at ds_music_now@yahoo.com if you'd like a brochure for yourself or your cheer coach! Good luck!
