  1. If you have your own trails or have a local place with open trails. Host a Trailride - have a consession stand, donation box, enterance fee....

A few girls and I from school did this to raise money for a rescue as one our friends projects. It was a lot of fun, and really not to much work if you have the right place and some helpful people.. We made around $400.00 which was awesome for just throwing it together last minute

    Good Luck

  2. Some other things you could do to raise money could be:

    Dog Walking

    Pony Rides

    Car Washing

You could also hold an event like Pony Day. Pony Day is an event when younger kids get a chance to ride around for like an hour with someone holding their pony. They can do mini obstacle courses, an extremely tiny X and they get to groom their pony.

  3. Pony Rides

Raffle off some sort of tack Item, make the tickets like, 5 dollars and then raffle off a spare saddle or a free riding lesson.

  4. Our 4H club held a used tack sale this spring.  We made about $500.00. They usually do best in spring before everyone starts the new show season, but having one in the fall would help keep the barns cleaned out.

A "model" horse show is another way to go.  People who are not able to actually own a horse love to collect and tack up their Breyer models. And they love to show them off.  This is a good fundraiser anytime of year.

Chance off a bucket (large!) of donated horse items.   Brushes, detanglers, fly masks or sprays, cookies and anything else you can get your stable buddies and local businesses or stores to donate.

  5. What about a horse show? Like a small one for the riders at the barn. Each person who comes pays a dollar or so. Put on a BBQ and yeah, try tack cleaning. Maybe make some art and crafts, sell them and such.

  6. yeah I was going to say Garage sale, or mayb start ebaying some things you dn't need or craigslist them. Quick and easy money

  7. car wash, pony parties, mini-camp

  8. bake sale is all i can think of know i will but more has i think of them

  9. I would suggest if you have a local 4-H and talk to them to see if you can have a fairly large horse show (make sure barn owner is ok with supervising it) and then make up a prize list do everything from english leadline to 3' jumps. you will get an amazing turn out and you can also have a snack stand table so bake like brownies and so forth also use the entry fees believe it or not if you have 1 person enter 3 class's or a division with the entry fee at 10.00 a class you will get money fast. at ten dollars a class you only need 465 entrys or 155 people with 3 entry. Its sounds like a lot but if you make special class's like for people just learning to canter do liek canter strait streach and so forth you will get a nice turn out.. TRUST ME.

  10. You could host a play day. Post flyers advertising it. Do a low cost entry fee (like $5.00) and have a BBQ plate lunch or dinner (charge for the plates).

You can also try having not only a horse wash. But, also have a car/truck and trailer wash.

Have a raffle for a week of free lessons, or training

    Used tack sale

  11. I think stall mucking would be a good fundraiser. Horse washing is also a good idea. But, it would be inconvienent for people to bring their horses to you.

  12. you can abg up horse manure and sell it round your villege/town, people will buy it because itys great for the garden.

you could do a sponsored ride.

put down a load of fancy dress ideas on a piece of apare, then out them all in a hat and pick one out.

get people to sponsor you and ride!! fun!

urr... you could give lessons on your yard or take a few of the safest horses to town or a show and give little rides with a sort of 'minni lesson' for children. charge about £6 for a small hack up the road and a small bit of schooling.

urr... sell any spare/unused/un wanted tack/rugs/boots etc

thats all i can think of right now. lol

  13. me my friends and my instructor had to fund raise so we could go to shows. We thought of offering a blanket cleaning service. As in horse rugs. Or do a car wash... those tend to pay off.
