  1. I don't know. That's a good question.

  2. there are two reasons for this.

    1) there is one standard unit for both drive up and walk up. this is to save money.

    2) many blind people have somebody drive them up.

  3. hahah. anddd.

why are there handicap spaces at the skating rink?

why do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?

why do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters?

why do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight?

why is there a sign on the mcdonalds drive thru announcing picture menus available for those who cant read?

    thats all i got. :]

  4. I read a magazine article about this a few years ago.  In fact, blind people often have someone drive them to a drive-up ATM.

Also the drive-up ATMs have the same front panel as walk-up units, so it would cost -more-, not less, to delete the braille.

  5. someone could drive them there,I would assume blind people need money on the weekends too...... that is a good question though...

  6. i've never thought of that. ever.

  7. I don't know, maybe customer service thought it was a good idea
