  1. Er...Mac, or what about my name Jock!  An offensive one which is usually coined by the most ignorant of English people (thankfully most English people ARE NOT ignorant) is "Sweaty SWock" as it is rhyming slang for Jock.

  2. Some common nicknames are based on short familiar versions of traditional names. Often people would put another word like, big, wee, young, auld or oor (to denote a blood relative) before the name.

e.g. Big Alek saw young Jimmy doon the street.

    Dod - for George

    Tam - for Thomas

    Davey - for David

    Shug - for Hugh

    Wullie - for William

    Jock - for John

    Jimmy - for James

Eck, Alek, Sandy, Zander, for Alexander

    Drew, Andy for Andrew

    Maggie - for Margaret

    Bessy - for Elizabeth

    Annie for Ann

    Jessy - for Jesica

    Jeanie - for Jean

Jimmy is the name we would use if we didn't know someones name. It's just a generic name to call  a man.

Hen is usually a name to call any woman.

  3. call him a FRISP

    Fuc*in

    Repulsive

    Ignorant

    Scots

    Pig

  4. loon for a boy

  5. heard them all before and they're all cr@p!

  6. Hamish MacHaggis

  7. Damya

  8. Jock or Jimmy for a man

Hen or hin for a girl

  9. Angus Ma Coatup, or if you're the other way inclined, Ben Doon and Phil McCavity. Now treat it as a joke ! All you jocks out there. !
