  1. It may sound funny but when you interview people for a living you would be surprised how many people look down, or off to the side when your interviewing them, even when they answer they still do it.  You would think this is common sense, but it's more common than you think, that's why you see it posted all over.  As an HR Manager I find it funny people don't dress professionally,or they bring coffee into the interview, chomp on their gum, speak unprofessionally, don't know why they were let go from their last job, slouch or kick back like their at home, tell you personal information, answer their cell phone or don't turn their cell phones off in an interview, oh and my favorite bring your kids, husband or friend to the interview - I think that should be common sense but apparently the world is loaded with idiots, and they are all looking for jobs, hmm wonder why you didn't get the job.

  2. Don't stare at your interviewer, but make eye contact when you answer a question.  If you are looking at the ground, or anywhere other than the interviewer it it will show your lack of confidence and reduce your chances of getting hired.  The interviewer will look down at your application a number of times to break eye contact with you.  Just make sure you look him/her in the eyes when you answer any questions.

    Again, good luck

  3. You look at them when they're talking to you.  You give your full attention and if they're saying more than a few words you nod and say 'uh huh' once in a while to show you're getting it.

You look them in the eyes while you're talking to show that you're not lying, you're not shy about what you have to say, you are direct and straightforward.

It's just logical really.  Show them that you are all there at the interview, that you are listening carefully, that you value their time and are happy to have their attention when you speak.  Think how you would feel if the situation was reversed.
