Funny guy that never laughs?

Question

I know a guy (lets call him Jeff) that has a great sence of humor (kinda dry but people always laugh when he makes a joke) but doesnt laugh or even smile at other jokes, funny situations, etc. What is your opinion on this character? (This is a real person) I'm interested in the first impression that he makes on people.

i think tht he is not tht abnormall and he is fine untill he makes me laugh =)

It's called deadpan, you see a lot of comedians doing it.  It doesn't matter how funny the joke is and how many people are laughing, they still keep a straight face or deadpan expression.  As long as he is approachable and friendly then you have nothing to worry about.  If he spends a lot of time in his backyard digging holes at 2am then you should get worried.

Just that he is very funny and enjoys watching others rather than giving out with loud guffaws all the time, he is more a humor "connoisseur."

Some people don't show their amusement.  I have met plenty of people who can tell a joke with a straight face, and who will keep a straight face when something funny is said.  Perhaps he is laughing on the inside while being stoic on the outside.
