Funny ideas for school news?

I'm on the news team at my school. it isnt really news, we just tell the days announcements and birthdays and stuff. my group needs funny ideas so we get picked to do special broadcasts. today we were just kind of random. like when i made an announcement about the dress code, i said "if you dont follow these rules, i will personally come to your house, eat all your food, and throw your clothes onto the roof." people said it was pretty funny, but i want something better. please give ideas that are funny but middle school appropriate. thanks!

I am in Middle School and what we like is stuff like what the teacher did like snort or you can talk about what people are talken about but add some twiste to it!

if ur announcing a teacher's birthday (and they are old-ish) say "ur 29 right?)

or

for basketball sign-ups (if ur un-athletical or not good at that sport) say "i can't even shoot from the one-point line" and have a friend say "but there is no one-point line" and u say "precisely."

i say that all the time. lol. :D

You could try to find interesting things about the teachers, and then pose it as a question.  Such as:  'Which teacher spent their summer vacation climbing hills, instead of the walls like they usually do',  'Which teacher has so many siblings, her parents left her at a theme park by accident', etc.

Also, ask the support staff - secretaries, custodians, etc.  Have fun.
