Furniture paint design help!?

I'm trying to paint my little TV stand with a white base but I want to paint a little design on it. I live right on the beach so something beachy would fit nicely. I'm not very artistic so I'm looking for a simple design I could paint or a website with how to steps. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Go into Yahoo images under a design you would like example: Sea Horse;

What I do is copy to ms word they I adjust the size I like. I have a color printer so I don't even have to paint the design.

You cut the shape out glue it to the surface you want.

You can seal it two ways, one with clear paint - I use walmart's clear paint it cost about a dollar a can.

Or you can use decoupage just follow the directions.

You can paint the base coat white (or another color).  Then lay seashells on the now-dry paint and using a different color, spray paint. leaving the shadow of the seashells.  You will probably have to do each side separately since you will have to lay the stand flat on its side.

I think something with beachy colors would do. But something simple like stripes can be very beach themed but not overdone. Its classic and easy.
