i have a fairly new bedroom set, its less then a year old, well my nightstands and dresser have a few scratches in them that i would like to cover up. is this possible? i do not know what kind of wood it is. it's not extremely fancy but not really cheap either, something you could find at ashley furniture. tia!

  1. The best wood touch-up pens are from Mohawk.  You can get them at Target, or Home Depot.  They usually come in a pack of 3 colors, and you want to dab the pen on the spot, and then rub it in with your fingers.  It won't cover the marks, but it will make it the same color again.

    GOOD LUCK!

  2. depends on what color the furniture is. you can go to a home improvement store like Home Depot and ask them there. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they sell a pen type thing that has wood stain in it to use just for touchups. they come in all different colors. if not that, then you can buy the tiny little cans of them matched to your color furniture and add a little at a time with a Q-tip.

a much simpler, cheaper though more ghetto solution is to buy a sharpie pen in the same color as your furniture and touch it up by dabbing the ink on there. might not be the best finish, but easy and cheap.
