  1. Ok Ive just read over your previous questions which were of the same topic.

If you are hiring a hall from someone. The hall is in your posession. Its your business and if anyone injures themselves it would become your responsibility. You could try asking your landlord of the hall to go in halves with you, but hes not obliged to. Unfortunately as steep as the premiums are it all falls back on you.

If you own a business you usually take out Public Liability insurance. This way you are covered if someone sues for Public Liability. Depending on how much you are insured for say 1 million and the person is suing for 2 million. The court would determine the amount of entitlement by the injury sustained, long term damage or disablity etc. If the court award the person 2 million dollars you would be covered for 1 million (if you had Public Liability Insurance) and would have to come up with the other million.

When it comes to matters of being sued for Public Liability from knowledge they are done through criminal court. Your better off ringing up and speaking with a lawyer.

    Good Luck
