Hi again Tat4u,....thanks for all your help,much appreciated!!....I've now got the 'boot' disk on a floppy(i downloaded the 'ROMPaq' version)..but the notebook in question hasn't got a floppy drive,so i connected a USB Floppy drive to use but it is no good,as obviously to me now,the drivers for it aren't on the notebook!!...Can i download the 'ROMPaq' to a CD??....and if so,will the notebook read it without being on as far as 'windows'??......if i cannot go any further with my problem this way i might have to find out how to connect an 'external' monitor to the notebook and try this way!!......really appreciate if you could still help me,...cheers!!
