im wondering if the main character really got sucked into a book and everything thats gonna happen to her is written in the book??

ya! ur right! the story in d book itself s sort of a spell that gets miaka n her friend into another dimension! it s a cool anime!!

actually it's more like whats happening to her is just currently bring written on the book.you'll get the idea during the time that miaka & tamahome was transported in the real world.tamahome was able to cross the dimension & therefore because of that the book & the real world was linked.

Yep! The book is an alternate dimension. It's actually kinda cool. Yuu Watase (creator/mangaka) is a really good author.  You can read the manga at onemanga.com its really good!
