Future of the biodiesel industry

with the increase of soya seed prices by almost 3 fold, is the future of the biodiesel industry uncertain? and as alreddy many plants in US have shut down their operations can we say its not going to work out anymore

There will be a place for it, but probably not as people expected. It makes no sense to burn your food for energy, food prices have sky rocketed. They are working on plants that produce more oil than soy and corn to produce the biodiesel. But hopefully they continue to grow food. Rather eat than drive.
