Future value of some PS1 games?

Question

I have been thinking of selling some of my old PS1 games, and am wondering if anyone knows if these few are worth selling now or holding on to for a few years (ie is it likely that their value might increase, I'm not talking by a lot?), or are they not worth selling at all?

(unless otherwise stated they are the originals, not the platinum and all are in good condition)

Metal gear solid one (inc. silent hill demo and station 7 demo)

MGS special missions

X-com Enemy Unknown

Wipeout 3 Special Edition

Streetfighter collection

Hogs of War

Point blank 1 & 2

Silent Hill

I think, like all really old games, they will increase in time if they are still in good condition when you come to sell. I alone have about 30 PS1 games that I barely play anymore. I'm just going to leave for a few years so I can get some cash for them!!

I'm not sure about the rest, but Silent Hill alone is worth over $80.

I went to GameStop a few years ago asking for it and they said that they game was so rare, if they ever had one, they wouldn't sell it for anything less that $80.

Pawn shops won't give as much, though. That's where I bought my copy and it was $35.

That collection does not contain any rare or hard to get games, so sadly, they will not be worth very much money, and in future their worth is likely to decline, especially with ps1 games now purchaseable on the PSN on PS3.
