FC Mordovia Saransk head coach, Fyodor Shcherbachenko, has expressed his delight after his side
managed to record their first Russian Premier League win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 at Stadion Start (Saransk) on Friday.
The host team managed to take the lead inside ten minutes after Yevgeni Osipov scored the first goal for his side this season. Rostov’s Vitali Dyakov then scored an own goal. Rustem Mukhametshin scored the third goal for the Russian
outfit late in the game.
Saransk, who got promoted to the Russian Premier League for the first time in their history, have now moved up to the eleventh spot on the league table after the latest win against RSM.
“Of course, I am very pleased with the result. But if you are an ambitious coach, you are never satisfied. Today was a good match, perhaps, we properly played this one. I am happy that we create chances at the opponent’s gate.
However, we were weak in the first half,”

and make changes in the tactics.” The Russian second division winner was quoted as saying.
Saransk played the league tie on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Kuban Krasnodar. They, meanwhile, failed to win the opening day fixture as they gave away the match after suffering a 3-2 defeat against Lokomotiv Moscow at home.
Shcherbachenko admitted that the fans are expecting these types of performances from the Russian outfit, urging his side to meet their expectations by showing consistency in their performances.
The Russian tactician went on to praise Mukhametshin, admitting that the 28-year-old striker is showing improvement consistently. Shcherbachenko urged his side to maintain the decent league run when they face Amkar Perm in the
upcoming tie on Sunday.
