  1. everything is basic comprehension. all skills you should know and should have learned to face the world that is ahead of you out in the "real world"...

its easy. its easier than the finals you would normally take in highschool. You should be able to pass it, unless you never payed attention, or have absolutely no knowledge of the subjects with which you will be tested (which should be the ones you've been learning about, right?)

  2. I went to the local city college in 2006 and paid $125.00 and took the tests which consists of: Math, Social Studies, Science, Reading, Writing. I passed them all! I mentally dropped out of school in my freshman year, 'stopped paying attention' and I physically dropped out of school in my Junior year. That was in 1972. At age 50, I recieved my GED. It consists of basic knowledge and common sense. Brush up on your basic math such as adding, subtracting, percentages, division etc., and you should be okay. If you fail the first time, you get another chance to retake the test without paying! If I can do it after so many year's of being out of school, anyone can do it!!

  3. so easy my 1st grader can do it.

  4. There are too many unknowns to give you a good answer.  How far in school did you get?  What kind of a student were you?  How old are you?

To find out how hard it would be, try taking some sample tests on line and see how well you do.  You can also buy a GED prep book.  And most places give free GED prep help in night classes.

Also, most GED centers will make you take a pre-test before you do the real thing. This test will give you a pretty accurate idea of how well you will do on the real test.

Congratulations to you for wanting to complete your education!! Don't give up - there are lots of great resources out there.

  5. some questions are difficult, but some are easy.  I think its harder than the asvab, but easier then the ACT

    good luck =]

  6. Not to bad good luck!!!!!!!!

  7. My mom says it's easy, or at least it was when she took it. It's mostly Math and English stuff, and it's about as long as the aims test...but finishing high school is a better idea....I'm just saying.

  8. It's basic high school stuff all subjects. The length probably depends on the state you are in, I'm not sure. Have you checked out any classes for it? They can answer all your questions.
