The Kirby is suddenly not cleaning the carpet, this is what I know:
The hose is not plugged
it has a new bag in it
The bar is rotating, but the sound changes when it is low enough to hit the carpet...almost like the pressure is making it stop, or maybe it's just that I don't hear the SUCKING sound
The little green light on the head goes off when I roll over the carpet but goes back on when I lift the vacuum, or run it partially off the edge of the carpet (OK I never noticed this light before so am not sure what its function is) Whatever, the sound is not the normal Kirby sound.
Nearest authorized repair place is 30 minutes from me...
I have pets and am VERY sad my rugs are covered in animal hair..
