G9 flash problem ??

Hi ..

How can I take steady picture with the FLASH off using canon G9 ??

Because whenever I turn the flash off .. the picture either become dim or unsteady ( shaky )

Bump up the ISO, and/or open the aperture up, possibly to 2.8

You've got to hold the camera still.  Brace it against or on something like a door frame or table top.  Better yet, use a tripod, although I can understand how you might not want to mess with one in some situations, like parties, etc.

You can also increase the ISO to allow faster shutter speeds, which will cut down on blur.

Also, make sure that you have the image stabilization feature turned on as that will help.
