No. One is better served by a combination of a low-dose Longer acting Benzodiazepine (without active metabolites) such as Clonazepam for the prevention AND a shorter acting benzodiazepine such as Alprazolam.  Such nonsense as health food remedies and prescription anti-depressants no relief and may make matters worse.
