GALWAY RACES 2008 - Help with Accommodation??

Question

I am currently looking for self catering accommodation in Galway from Saturday, July 26th - Monday, August 2nd 2008.

Can anybody please help me out.

I would prefer a self catering apartment as close to the city centre as possible, and failing that anything reasonable priced (given the week that in it) I would consider.

The week of the Galway Races is probably the busiest week in Galway's calendar. Self catering is a very popular choice, especially during the summer months, but you have a few options.

Campus accommodation (student residences) becomes available during the summer. These are situated on the grounds of various colleges around the city. The accommodation is of a high quality and offers a whole range of facilities, also it's very affordable.  

There are also other apartment/self catering holiday villages, especially on the outskirts of the city.  

It's worth noting that the majority of self-catering properties are bookable on a Saturday to Saturday basis, but special arrangements are often made, especially on busy weekends.
