  1. I live 50 miles from my job.  I'll drive and watch you pedal.  Sorry!!!

  2. Some people live very far from their jobs, My father had to drive 150 miles ((three hours)) to his job.

I live close to school, so I walk in the cold. Me use up gas? nah.

  3. if only we could harness those methane toots in farts. we could power a little moped on that can of beans we had for lunch.

if you can walk to work, you should walk to work, don't be so lazy!

    same for riding a bicycles.

why give a hoot about the price of gas.

  4. Theoretically, it should.  Unfortunately we are dealing with an industry that runs a government.  Chances are if Americans started boycotting gasoline, etc.  the b******s would tax walking, and those who bicycle to work would be added to the axis of evil.

Great question though, I thought this the other day.

  5. no  they got us by the short hairs.

get ready for a real fleecing

  6. I have to drive almost 40 miles to work, if I ride a bike, ya, that will cut down on gas use and my income cuz I'm not gonna make it on time ever.

But yes, I do agree, the price will come down. I've noticed when the price goes too hi, shortly afterwards, I see less traffic and more people walking. Then the price comes back down. It has nothing to do with them having to charge this much or that, it has everything to do with what they can get away with charging us. When they charge us too much, the money coming in slows down because people buy less often, they respond quickly. For all the people thinking the oil supply in the world is running out, you might want to tell the oil companys because selling it for $3 a gallon when we're almost out is kind of reckless I think.

  7. Won't have anything to do with the price.

  8. sure would like to think it would, but in all reality NO. They have us by the nads... unfortunately

  9. no why would it? there is no long term permanent change in the demand, and the supply will be the same too.
