Well Voss is getting cosey and snug to slip right into his first coaching position!!

Do you think its a wise decision for GC17 (GoldCoast 17) to have a brand new coach with no previous experience?

  1. Not sure about this, maybe they could employ a mentor type assistant coach with him to help him through the first year, like a sheedy, malthouse etc. mick wont be at c'wood come 2011.

I think he will become a good coach personally, but not all great players can coach but i get the feeling Voss can and will.

The only thing the i don't like about Voss is he says anythinK instead of anythinG, everythinK  instead of everythinG,   why do people do that, especially when you ask them to spell the word and they put the G on the end, i say, see where's the K,   AARRRGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. um, no matter what the Gold Coast team is still guna suck and its guna be my number 1 least fave team. when you lived near the Gold Coast for about 13 years of your 18 year old life then you would hate the Coast as well. thank goodness i moved when i did. and as if the Gold Coast are guna get any support, QLD hates AFL! and whos guna support them? not the Vics, and every other state wont. and now they dont even have the support of the Lions....

  3. Yes.

I think Voss is holding off for this job. He has not applied for other jobs that have been going & I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already been promised the job.

  4. vossy will get the job and a new coach and new club and possibly a new style of footy

  5. Yeah. Good idea.

At least he'd have some respect & he knows the area & sponsors.

Maybe they could shop around for some recycled coach - such as Chris Connelly, Robert Walls, Terry Daniher etc...

Would you rather have someone who has been sacked for incompetence - or maybe chase someone like Mick Malthouse .....someone who once was a success but is now a complete fauilure?

I think I'd opt for Voss!

  6. the team isnt ment to be joining the league until 2011 so voss has till then to gain some coachin experience. maybe it isnt the best choice to have a coach with no experience, they dont want to do the same as they have with freo. they have never really had a good coach and the team has never acheived anything, and the best coach they have had was connoly and when they stop playin well they made him resign. voss was a great player but doesnt mean he will be a great coach. he really needs to get some experience under his belt before the team enters the league

  7. if he gets 40 great players he should be a great coach if he gets 40 ordinary players he probably be an ordinary coach
